About
Introduction
Black bear is an amateur photographer who constantly finds joy in taking pictures and tries hard to tell a story one photo at a time. White bear enjoys cooking, eating, sleeping, and watching good movies. Hand in hand they travel around the city they live in, and sometimes farther away, and cherish every moment they are together.
Sing like no one’s listening, love like you’ve never been hurt, dance like nobody’s watching, and live like its heaven on earth.

Favorite Photographic Series
Cherry Blossom Series
Japan is a country full of surprises. I visited Japan during the Hanami Festival and was amazed by the stunning scenery of the cherry blossoms. The few pictures taken below can be found in the gallery post Temple and the Deer in Nara; Cherry Blossoms in Kyoto, and the Food Paradise in Dotonbori.
London
London is a fascinating city to visit, with vibrant culture and a seamless mixture of the old and the new. Below are my favorite pictures from the posts Breakfast in London, Green Lungs in London and Greenwich.
Hong Kong Getaways
There are many photogenic spots in Hong Kong, my home city which is always crowded and full of hustle and bustle. Please visit the following links for the rare green places in Hong Kong where we can relax: Tai Tam Reservoir & Shing Mun Reservoir.

Thank you for your recents visits and nice comments. I consider buying a Sony NEX-F3 as a second camera when I don’t use my DSLR. It has good reviews and I can see that you shoot with Sony. Is it a camera that you would recommend? Thanks. Frank.
I don’t have the NEX-F3 but it’s relatively a capable and affordable mirrorless cam. Now that the NEX-3n has been released, the price of F3 has dropped to a new low; and the newer 3n does not have significant improvement over the F3. The F3 has a flipping screen (for self-portraits) but does not have a touch screen, and has a built-in flash. If you want more functions, the NEX-5R has a touch screen, faster PDAF focusing, but does not have built in flash. One step up the ladder, the NEX-6 has built-in flash, and a very good EVF, and more controls.
The bottom line is, the F3 is a bargain at the current price I think. You may be disappointed in losing the advanced features. But it is compact and has superb image quality (the same as on cropped APSC sensors on DSLRs). The problem with Sony is that the lens selection for NEX cameras isn’t extensive; but that is changing too. We now have a super-wide zoom and fast f1.8 primes (24mm, 35mm and 50mm) but the NEX line still lack a macro or a telephoto prime.
Hope this helps you!

You have been a litmus test for many of my posts and if I see your like pop up, I know I must be doing something right. 😉 And not that I ever could improve your blog but if you ever need a custom graphic or musical suggestion, I’m your man.
